– parsley

7-day diet

As the title implies, this diet lasts only 7 days and you can lose up to 6 kg (13 pounds).

Day1: You can eat fruit all you want and drink only water and black coffee with no sugar. Bananas and grapes are not recommended.

Day2: This day, you can only eat vegetables. Green leafy vegetables are the best. You can add spices, but you are not supposed to use any kind of oil.

*You are allowed to eat vegetable soup for days 5,6 and 7.

*You can combine this diet with the cabbage soup diet, eat the foods on this menu and drink the cabbage soup all 7 days. You will get satisfying results.

5-day diet

This is a pretty extreme diet so it is better if you first consult your doctor. You can lose up to 5 kg (11 pounds) in just 5 days.

Day 1: The first day, you are supposed to drink 1L yogurt. In addition, you can drink water, tea, black coffee and juices with no sugar.

Day 2: Today you should eat 1 kg boiled potatoes. Again, you are allowed to drink water, tea, coffee and juices.

Day 3: Today, you should eat up to 1 kg apples.

Day 4: This day, eat at least 400gr. boiled meat (preferably chicken or turkey) and eat vegetables as much as you want.

Day 5: Take a break and eat small portions of whatever you want.

*You must take vitamins and other supplements while going on this diet, because you don’t receive enough nutrients from the food you eat.

The 3-day Diet

This is probably one of the most famous diets. It appeared in the 80’s and it has been an absolute hit since then. It is claimed that you can lose up to 10 pounds in just 3 days. It is hard to believe, but to be honest, it is possible, due to the low calorie intake.

Day 1:

– Breakfast: Black tea of coffee

½ grapefruit (or juice)

1 tbsp peanut butter with toast (1 piece)

– Lunch:  Tuna ( ½ cup)

Dinner:  Chicken or any lean meat (3 ounces)

Carrots (1 cup)

 1 apple

 Green beans (1 cup)

Day 2:

– Breakfast: Black tea or coffee

1 egg

 ½ banana

Toast (a piece)

– Lunch:Tuna or Cottage Cheese (1 cup)

8 regular saltine crackers

– Dinner:  2 beef franks

Cabbage or Broccoli (1 cup)

 Carrots ( ½ cup)

 ½ banana

 Vanilla Ice Cream ( ½ cup)

Day 3:

– Breakfast: Black tea or coffee

5 regular saltine crackers

Cheddar cheese (1 ounce)

1 apple

– Lunch:  Black tea or coffee

1 boiled egg

Toast (1 piece)

-Dinner:  Melon (1 cup)

Tuna (1 cup)

Cauliflower (1 cup)

Carrots (1 cup)

Vanilla Ice Cream ( ½ cup)

*Apart from the food in this menu, you must drink at least 4 cups of water or other non-caloric drink daily. You can also drink more coffee and tea.

*After completing this diet, there are big chances of regaining the lost weight. That’s why you shouldn’t overeat the following few days. Slowly adapt by eating less than usual, and then gradually increase your food intake.

The Juice Diet

Also known as ‘fasting’, this diet has many variations. In this diet, fresh juice from fruits and/or vegetables is the only source of food you will get. The most common recommended juices are: celery, cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, orange, lemon, lime, pineapple, kiwi, broccoli etc. Apart from juices, you are allowed to drink only water and herbal teas.
